I awake with a start and look over at the clock on the bed table. 7 o’clock. Tiredly I mull over whether I should get up and check the weather. If it’s not cloudy then I should get dressed and make a run up to Sunrise Point. Hmmm. This bed’s so comfy, and warm, and… Oh, ok. I’ll take a peek out the window. Well, it looks mostly clear. All right already. I’m outta here.

So I throw some clothes on real quick and head on up the road into the park. After about 10 minutes, I come to the turnoff for Sunrise, which I take. The road to Sunrise first drops down a bit, but soon begins to rise and wind its way up the mountain. At first, there’s not much to see as the trees grow tall and dense, right up to the roadway.
